• Laura Morgan

    MWSA DIRECTOR

    Laura has a unique background in strings that shows her love for the string program in Cache Valley. She has been a part of MWSA since 2000 and was one of the founding trio of parents/teachers that that integrated the program into the school district. For the past 22 years, Laura has taught orchestra classes at 3 schools, supervised other teachers, and been a member of the executive board as well as treasurer for MWSA. She is a true Cache Valley string player, studying strings in the Logan City & Cache County Districts as well as Utah State University.

    ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

    Trista has been teaching with MWSA since 2004. She has taught at four different schools as well as supervised other teachers. She has a love of music and of teaching young students. Trista studied at Utah State University with Warren Burton and James McWhorter.

  • Liz Krebs

    Administrative Assistant

    Liz is our multi-talented Administrative Assistant! Not only does she have computer & organizational skills, but she also is an extremely talented musician.Liz started going to her son’s MWSA orchestra class in 2005 and ended up playing the piano & learning how to play string instruments!

    She joined New Horizons Orchestra & took cello lessons to become more proficient in her string abilities. She has held positions of Logan Instrument Manager & Secretary and is currently the MWSA Administrative Assistant and teaches orchestra at two schools.

  • Brittany Florence

    MWSA Treasurer

    Brittany started as the treasurer for MWSA in 2021. She graduated with BA in Accounting from Utah State University and has enjoyed working in various accounting positions since then.

    Brittany loves a good organized spreadsheet. She enjoys gardening, guitar, and spending time with her husband, Matt, and their six kids.

  • Marci Jewkes

    Instrument Specialist

    Marci started orchestra at Hillcrest Elementary before graduating from Logan High School and receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Viola Performance from Weber State University. She has been teaching private students for over 30 years.
    Marci joined MWSA in 2020 teaching at Cedar Ridge Elementary as well as the viola lab classes. In 2022 she became the Instrument Specialist. She enjoys working with the instruments as well as all the students and parents who come through the shop.
    She loves spending time with her 7 kids (who all play instruments), her co-dependent pup Phoebe, traveling, and all things Disney.
